Pemberdayaan Pemuda-Pemudi dan Kepemimpinan Berbasis Moderasi Beragama

Abstract

Church youth are a group that also lives alongside adherents of other religions in everyday life. Religious practices that are full of textual and symbolic nuances lead religious people to understand and practice life that is intolerant and tends to be radical. In response, a progressive approach is needed to build just, sovereign, dignified, and resolute community relations through the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. This is what underlies the Community Service (PkM) activities of the Christian Leadership Study Program IAKN Tarutung by linking them to Religious Moderation in forming a spirit of leadership. The research method used in this paper was the Participatory Action Research method. This community service activity whose target was youth is carried out in Lumban Siagian Julu Village.. Indicators of the success of this activities were the enthusiasm of participants in listening to the material and giving appropriate answers and being active in interactive training.
