Through literature studies and analysis of biblical texts, it was found that church music is effective in instilling Christian values such as love, patience, and obedience. Church music also helps children understand the concept of faith and biblical teachings in a way that is easy to remember. This study concludes that church music has the potential to support the development of children's character according to biblical teachings, so that parents and Christian educators are encouraged to integrate it into children's education from an early age.
Herman Sjahthi, Agus Suhariono, Markus Wibowo Copyright (c) 2025 Danum Pambelum: Jurnal Teologi Dan Musik Gereja https://ejournal.iaknpky.ac.id/index.php/pambelum/article/view/766 Sat, 24 May 2025 03:05:16 +0000 Kajian Etika Digital terhadap Peran Perempuan sebagai Content Creator Rohani di GPIB ATK https://ejournal.iaknpky.ac.id/index.php/pambelum/article/view/771
The rapid development of technology over time has an impact on the role of women in their ministry in the congregation and society, especially in utilizing digital platforms to spread spiritual content and positive messages to the congregation and society. This study examines the role of women as spiritual content creators in the GPIB ATK Ambarawa Congregation within the framework of Kate Ott's feminist ethics. Through in-depth interviews with female content creators and analysis of the content they produce, this study explores how women in GPIB ATK utilize digital platforms to spread spiritual content and how they apply the principles of digital ethics in these activities. The results of the study indicate that women in GPIB ATK have a significant role in spreading positive messages through digital platforms. However, this study also identifies challenges associated with the use of digital technology, such as the spread of invalid information, potential privacy violations, and the social impact of the content they produce. Based on Kate Ott's feminist ethics theory, this study concludes that efforts are needed to improve women's digital literacy so that they can use technology responsibly and ethically. Thus, good digital literacy allows women not only to be consumers of information, but can also be agents of positive change in strengthening spirituality and morality in the digital era.
Jesica Lionita Abel, Irene Ludji, Gilbert Paat Copyright (c) 2025 Danum Pambelum: Jurnal Teologi Dan Musik Gereja https://ejournal.iaknpky.ac.id/index.php/pambelum/article/view/771 Sat, 24 May 2025 03:14:15 +0000 Teologi Terjun Bebas: Bahaya Tafsir Alkitab Tanpa Konteks https://ejournal.iaknpky.ac.id/index.php/pambelum/article/view/837
The phenomenon of interpreting the Bible without context is increasingly prevalent in the digital era, creating serious dangers for correct theological understanding. This problem is characterized by the congregation's lack of understanding of hermeneutical principles, the influence of individualism, and the impact of social media algorithms that accelerate the spread of erroneous interpretations. This study aims to identify the causes, impacts, and solutions to this phenomenon. The method used is a qualitative-descriptive approach with literature analysis such as theological books, the Bible and scientific journals. The results of the study indicate that the inability to understand the historical-grammatical context, neglect of church tradition, and low awareness of the theological unity of the Bible are the main root problems. This phenomenon contributes to the emergence of deviant teachings, a crisis of authority in interpreting the Bible, and divisions in the church community. The discussion highlights the importance of developing a hermeneutics curriculum, using digital media wisely, and forming a healthy Bible study community. Based on the formulated title, it shows that the dangers of interpreting without context can be minimized through systematic hermeneutical education and church development that is centered on the authority of God's word. This strategic effort is expected to strengthen the spiritual formation of the congregation and maintain the integrity of Christian teachings amidst the challenges of the digital era.
Okta Rangga, Semy Djulandy Balukh Copyright (c) 2025 Danum Pambelum: Jurnal Teologi Dan Musik Gereja https://ejournal.iaknpky.ac.id/index.php/pambelum/article/view/837 Sat, 24 May 2025 03:18:39 +0000 Nilai-Nilai Kristiani Dalam Karakter Siswa Kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Tanah Siang Kabupaten Murung Raya https://ejournal.iaknpky.ac.id/index.php/pambelum/article/view/878
Abstract

Christian Education must be learned to students on the basis by Word of God and should be pursued jointly by teachers and parents, in order to create the expected Christian disposition or character of students. However, the facts show that the character of Christian teenagers is not yet in line between the material learned at school through Christian Education learning, and what is applied in daily life and in the community. Likewise, students at SMPN 2 Tanah Siang, Murung Raya still do not consistently apply Christian values in their daily lives. Based on the background of the problem above, the researcher is interested in identifying and describing Christian values in the character of students at SMP Negeri 2 Tanah Siang, Murung Raya, with the aim of 1) being able to identify and describe the Christian values that students learn in Christian Religious Education Subjects; 2) can identify and describe Christian values in students' characters. Students generally have gained an understanding of the character of Christian values regarding “the fruits of the holy spirit” through Christian Education. In terms of application, students are still weak in the character of self-control. This is also caused by exposure to modern lifestyles and lack of parental control when children are at home.

Keywords: Character, Christian, Education, Student

One of them is seen through the life of the Semau community. In this area, people still believe in the existence of spirits. Belief in the existence of these spirits is also often used to do many things, such as for traditional medicine but can also be used to harm others. The reality of this magical element is known as Suanggi. In fact, according to the data, almost all Semau people identify themselves as religious people. Of course, this reality is also a challenge in itself, for religions, especially Christianity, in making a balanced distinction between which cultures have a good impact on human life and which ones harm humans. The church must of course be selective in theologizing culture. Therefore, through this writing, it is hoped that it can provide a contribution of thought for churches in NTT, especially GMIT in theologizing with culture. In order to complete this paper, the author uses an interdisciplinary approach that does provide space for dialogue for many related scientific groups, which can conflict with each other but also work in harmony.
