Integrasi PAK dan Filsafat Huma Betang dalam Penguatan Karakter Binrem Rorena Polda Kalteng

Digital transformation requires police institutions to develop personnel who demonstrate professionalism and strong character. However, previous studies have generally examined Christian Religious Education (CRE) and local wisdom separately, leaving limited understanding of how their integration can strengthen police personnel's character. This study aims to analyze the contribution of integrating Christian Religious Education values and the Huma Betang philosophy to the character development of junior police officers at the Planning and Budget Bureau of the Central Kalimantan Regional Police and to construct a conceptual character development model. This study employed a qualitative instrumental case study design. Five participants were purposively selected based on the principle of data saturation. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, and analyzed using open, axial, and selective coding. The findings indicate that high digital literacy is not necessarily accompanied by character maturity, as reflected in digital individualism, declining social awareness, and shifts in communication ethics. The integration of the moral-spiritual values of Christian Religious Education and the socio-cultural values of the Huma Betang philosophy is perceived to contribute to strengthening integrity, responsibility, social concern, and service orientation. This study proposes the Double Ethical Shield Model as its conceptual novelty, integrating moral-spiritual and socio-cultural dimensions into a contextual framework for character development within police institutions in the digital era.
