Abstract

This community service activity is an activity that aims to strengthen the importance of children's education through a family guidance approach. The role of parents in the family is very important in fostering and directing the future of children with their education. GKE Bethesda Batu Nindan Congregation, Basarang District, Kapuas Regency was the subject of this activity. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR). The results of the activity showed that the participants of the activity consisting of parents and teenagers of the Bethesda congregation gained reinforcement of the importance of children's education, so they were committed to guiding children well. This commitment is based on the spirit of the child's future which will bring economic change to the family.
