ARTICLE WRITING GUIDELINES

HARATI: Jurnal Pendidikan Kristen

Focus and Scope

The purpose of publishing the HARATI journal is to publish the results of scientific studies and research in the field of Christian education and local culture.

Writing Guidelines:

  1. The article is the original work of the author. The article has never been published or is being submitted to another journal.
  2. Manuscripts are written with a length of 5000-8000 characters, with 1.15 spaces, Microsoft Word program, Book Antiqua font, 11 font, on A4 paper size with margins: top 2 cm, left 3 cm, right 3 cm, and bottom 2 cm.
  3. Manuscripts are submitted in soft-file form by regis and login at the following link: https://ejournal.stakn-palangkaraya.ac.id/index.php/harati
  4. Writing systematics: Title, Author's Name, Abstract, keywords, Introduction, Methods, Discussion and Results, Implications, Conclusion, and Bibliography can be seen in the HARATI Journal Template.
  5. The title of the article should not exceed 14 words written in the center (centered), with font 14, Book Antiqua and bolded. The title does not contain the name of the research site.
  6. The name of the author of the article is listed without title, occupation, profession or status (font 12); writing affiliations (not abbreviated) and writing the name of the country (font 11) and placed under the title of the article. Authors include an e-mail address for correspondence.
  7. The abstract is written with 1 single spacing; in English with a maximum length of 200 words. The abstract contains a brief background, objectives, and/or scope of the research, methods, summary of results/findings, and conclusions/implications (font 11).
  8. Keywords using English 3-6 words/phrases, separated by semicolon (;) and alphabetical order of writing. Consists of words that are representative of the content of the article (font 11).
  9. The introduction section contains the general background of the study, State of Art, and Research Objectives. The length of the introduction is no more than 10% of the entire article.
  10. Research methods, write down the research methods used in the research and the stages of the research (written in one paragraph), (font 11).
  11. Results and Discussion is a proof of the thesis statement contained in the introduction followed by a discussion of the results obtained, (font 11).
  12. Theoretical and practical implications in narrative form. Written descriptively in book antiqua font, 11pt.
  13. Conclusions are written in one paragraph length. The conclusion contains a brief answer to the research objectives or thesis statement that has been proven, followed by recommendations for further research.
  14. The reference list only contains sources referred to using Mendeley or Zotero or EndNote with the American Psychological Association 6th edition. Referenced sources must be listed in the reference list. Reference sources are at least 75% journal articles (last 10 years) and 25% books. The number of reference sources is at least 20 references (journals and books).
